Role: Lead Designer

Project: This project started out with no canvas aside from a turtle and an island. I wanted to test my ability to create and composite what an ancient island-sized turtle in the water could look like. As the project progressed I couldn’t help but be reminded of the Pokemon– Blastoise.

Blastoise is an evolved water-based character of Squirtle in the series Pokemon. Squirtle evolves into Wartortle, and finally into Blastoise. I then wanted to envision what a real-life Blastoise might look like versus just an island-sized turtle.

I, ultimately, created a composite using images, and graphics to put this fun piece together.
